Music
I play a lot of different kinds of music and can accommodate most requests from clients, but here are a few examples of the styles I play the most.
Irish Fiddling
I've been playing Irish traditional music for more than 20 years now, and it's one of my biggest passions. Over the years, I've developed a special focus on the music of Sliabh Luachra, a region on the border of Counties Cork and Kerry, which you can hear in these classic tunes.
Old-Time Music from the Upper Midwest
My home state of Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest has its own style of multi-ethnic old-time music, and I've dedicated myself to its preservation. This tune comes from the playing of a musical hero of mine, the late Bruce Bollerud.
Scottish Fiddling
I've played Scottish tunes for about along as I've played Irish ones, but recently I've been diving deeper into the style and repertoire.
